About this activity

This Paradise Valley and sandboarding trip from Agadir combines two very different landscapes in one day: a green Atlas Mountains oasis and a stretch of golden dunes beside the Atlantic. You are collected from your hotel, travel in an air-conditioned vehicle and are looked after by a guide throughout.

The first half of the day is spent in the mountains. The route passes through the Immouzer area, known as the "Honey Road", with stops at viewpoints over the Atlas. At Paradise Valley you hike into the canyon to reach the natural pools, then have free time to swim, sunbathe or just relax among the palms and rocks.

After a traditional Moroccan tagine lunch in the mountains, the drive heads back toward the coast via Tamri. You walk through limestone gorges and dry riverbeds at the foot of the Atlas, then reach the dunes at Timlalin, sometimes called the Little Sahara. Here you can try sandboarding down the slopes, take a camel ride and enjoy a desert feel right at the ocean's edge.

You are dropped back at your accommodation in Agadir or Taghazout in the late afternoon.
