About this activity

A camel ride Agadir style is a slow, relaxed way to see the countryside just south of the city. You sit on a camel, feel its steady, rocking stride, and follow a guided route through a eucalyptus forest and along the banks of the Souss River.

The river area is a protected spot where pink flamingos and other migrating birds are often seen, so bring your camera. Sightings depend on the season and the day, but the quiet scenery and the fresh eucalyptus air make the ride worthwhile either way.

The tour lasts about 2 hours in total, with roughly 1 hour on the camel. A guide leads the animals the whole way and helps you get on and off, so you don't need any experience. You can choose from four daily pickup times, including a late-day slot that lets you watch the sunset on the ride.

Your hotel transfer is included from Agadir, Taghazout, Tamraght or Anza. The tour ends back at the ranch with traditional Moroccan mint tea and snacks before you are driven back to your hotel.
