This 2-day desert tour from Agadir takes you south to the El Borj dunes in the Guelmim region. You travel by road with hotel pick-up, stopping at Tiznit and Legzira Beach on the way, then spend a night in a camp in the middle of the desert.
On day one you leave Agadir, or Taghazout, in the morning and pass through Berber villages toward the coast. You make a short stop in Tiznit, known as the Silver City, and have lunch at Legzira Beach, a place often described as one of the most picturesque beaches in Africa. The route also goes through Sidi Ifni before you reach the dunes.
In the afternoon you arrive at El Borj for sunset over the dunes. After dinner there is an evening show, and you sleep in a tent at the desert camp.
On day two, after breakfast, you explore the area around the dunes and visit Rsmouka village. Lunch is served at a local family's house. You then drive back to Agadir, arriving in the early evening. The tour is a good choice if you want a real overnight in the desert without the long distances of Merzouga or Zagora.
